Dosage

Nutrient solutions: 1mL/L (4mL/Gal) from seed to harvest. For heavy buildup, use at 2mL/L (8ml/Gal).
Post harvest cleanup: 25ml/L (100ml/Gal). Spray floors and walls.

Will System Maintenance Improve the Effective Working Life of Nutrient Batches?

Yes, provided, i) Light ingress and evaporation are minimized; ii) Shade or bury the reservoir to minimize nutrient temperature; iii) Avoid the use of sugary additives such as carbohydrates and molasses. With a super-stable nutrient such as Veg-1 and its associated additives, batches can be stored for several weeks or even months provided pH is set well below 6.5 on day 1. By keeping everything clean – reservoir, drippers, feedlines, pump and filters – System Maintenance will help ensure all plants are being watered properly.

How to Perform Post Harvest Cleanup?

Remove plants then partly fill reservoir with water. Add 2-4ml/L (8-15ml/Gal) Pythoff PLUS, ensure pH 5 – 6. Run pump hourly for 24-hours. Discard this solution then flush several times with fresh water. To wash floors and walls and remaining hardware, spray with 25ml/L (100ml/Gal) FloraMax System Maintenance. Scrub well then wait 30 minutes before rinsing clean with water.
